Privacy notice
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Traditional Chinese version,
the 繁體中文版 prevails.
Bancheng is operated by Bancheng Network Co., Ltd. (阪誠網通有限公司, Taiwan Unified Business No. 53294665; "we" or "us").
This page explains what data we collect when you browse our website, use the AI assistant, sign up and use the dashboard;
why we collect it, who processes it for us, how long we keep it,
and how you can access it or ask us to delete it.

What we collect
When you browse our website
- Which pages you view, whether you use a phone or a computer, how far down each page you scroll, how many seconds the page stays in the foreground, and which kind of button you click (for example sign-up, plans and pricing, demo sites, the AI assistant, phone or email).
- Where you came from: the domain of the referring website (without the rest of its address), and campaign parameters on ad links.
- To recognise "the same visitor" we use a code made by hashing that day's IP address and browser information; it changes every day. These browsing records do not keep your IP address or browser information in their original form.
- The landing page and source of your first visit are stored in your browser and sent only when you sign up, so we know which channel the sign-up came from.
When you use the AI assistant in the bottom-right corner of our website
- The questions you type and the AI's replies are stored, and our customer-service staff can see them.
- If you choose to leave a message for a person, we collect the name, phone number or email address you leave, and your message.
- Please do not enter sensitive data such as national ID numbers, medical records or credit card numbers in the chat.
When you sign up and use the dashboard
- Your business name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as an encrypted hash; we cannot see the original.
- The website content you create in the dashboard, the images and files you upload, the AI assistant's knowledge base, and your subscription plan and payment records (amount, time, payment status).
- Payments are processed by ECPay or NewebPay. We do not obtain or store your full credit card number.
System and security records
- Our servers record the IP address, time, URL and browser information of every connection, to maintain security and troubleshoot problems.
- Your login state (session) is stored in our database together with your IP address and browser information, and expires after 2 hours without activity.
Why we collect it
- To provide and maintain the Bancheng service: sign-up, login, sending verification emails and notifications, and billing.
- To answer your questions: through the AI assistant and our human staff.
- To understand which content on our website is useful and which ads bring interested visitors, so we can improve the website and adjust our ads.
- To maintain system and information security, for example blocking automated programs from mass sign-ups and the misuse of other people's email addresses.
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and browser storage
- Login and form security: the session cookie and XSRF-TOKEN keep you logged in and protect against cross-site request forgery. If you block them, you cannot log in.
- Visit source: bc-first-touch, bc-entry and pending-plan are stored in your browser to remember where you first came from, where you entered this time, and which plan you chose.
- AI assistant: bancheng_visitor, a random visitor ID that lets a conversation continue.
- Google Analytics: _ga and related cookies, used to count visitors and measure browsing.
- Meta Pixel: _fbp, _fbc and related cookies, used to measure the visits and sign-ups that Facebook and Instagram ads bring, and to show ads to people who have visited our website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google, or adjust the ads you see in Facebook's Ad Preferences.
If you block analytics and advertising cookies, our website still works normally.
Who processes your data
To provide the service, some data is processed by the following service providers. Data is transmitted and processed electronically:
- Hosting and files: a cloud hosting provider; the images and files you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2.
- AI replies: AI assistant conversations are sent through OpenRouter to language model providers (for example Google and OpenAI) to generate replies.
- Email: verification and notification emails are sent through an email hosting provider.
- Payments: ECPay and NewebPay.
- Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Meta (Pixel and Conversions API).
Some of these providers are located outside Taiwan (for example in the United States), so your data is transferred abroad for processing.
Apart from the purposes above, and cases required by law or where judicial authorities lawfully request access,
we do not provide your personal data to anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Website browsing records: 180 days, then deleted automatically.
- Server connection logs: 14 days.
- System backups: deleted after 30 days.
- Account data, website content and AI assistant conversations: kept until you ask us to delete them or your account is terminated. After termination, everything is deleted except billing records we are required by law to keep.
- Billing records: kept for the periods required by the Business Entity Accounting Act and other regulations.
Your rights
Under Article 3 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to:
- let you inquire about or review your personal data
- provide you with a copy of it
- supplement or correct it
- stop collecting, processing or using it
- delete it

If you don't provide data
- You do not need to provide any data to browse our website.
- To sign up you must provide a business name, email address and password; without them we cannot create an account.
- You can use the AI assistant without leaving contact details; we just won't be able to reach you if a person needs to reply.
Customer data on merchants' websites
On the website you run on Bancheng, the data of your visitors and customers (for example orders, bookings, members and chat conversations) belongs to you, the merchant;
we process and store it on your instructions. Your website has its own privacy policy, which you can edit in the dashboard.
When your customers want to exercise the rights above, please respond to them yourself; if you need our help retrieving or deleting data, email us.
Changes to this notice
When anything changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
