Bancheng / Free plan
A free website: what it can do, and what it can't
The free plan isn't a trial and doesn't expire. Here is exactly what it does and what it doesn't — both sides, so you don't find out halfway through.
The free plan includes
- A 3-page website — home, about and contact is usually enough
- 30 blog posts a month — for a blog or news updates; posts don't count as pages
- 100 AI assistant conversations a month
- 3 knowledge documents,
up to 5,000 characters each
- 1 GB of image storage — roughly 2,000 to 5,000 resized photos per GB
- All 24 section types, including enquiry forms, newsletter sign-up, maps and photo galleries
- Automatic sitemap, robots.txt, canonical URLs, structured data and IndexNow notifications
- The SEO check-up in your dashboard
- Export your data to CSV any time
The free plan can't
- Run a shop — listing products, taking orders and accepting payments need the Pro plan
- Use your own domain — your address is a path on our platform; your own domain starts with the Basic plan
- Remove the platform credit — there's one line in the footer; paid plans from Basic up can remove it
- Add team members — it's just you

Why it's free
Because most small businesses aren't sure they need a website at all. If you have to pay to find out,
you never start. The free plan is enough to put your business online, get found on Google
and receive your first enquiry — and by then you'll know whether to upgrade.
When you reach a limit, nothing upgrades automatically and nothing is charged. It simply stops there until you decide.
FAQ
Will I be pushed to pay after a while?
No. The free plan has no trial period. When you hit a limit it simply stops there — we never upgrade or charge you automatically.
Does the free site show your branding?
Yes, one line in the footer. You can remove it from the Basic plan up.
Are three pages enough?
Home, About and Contact are three pages, and that's enough for many small shops. Blog posts don't count as pages — you get 30 a month on top.
