Five things to review before adopting an AI assistant
Adopting an AI assistant need not be complicated, but thinking these five things through before launch makes a big difference.
1. What customers ask most
List the top twenty frequent questions; they are the first things the AI has to learn.
2. Where the answers live
Product descriptions, price lists, rules and notices: make sure they are current and can go into the knowledge base.
3. What goes to a person
Quotes, complaints, special requests: will people handle them? Decide the hand-over conditions and contact details.
4. Which channels
Your website, LINE, or both? Different channels can share one knowledge base.
5. Language and tone
Which languages will you serve customers in? Friendly or formal? Set these before launch for the most consistent experience.
Once ready, an AI assistant can go live quickly, and afterwards you simply add new material to the knowledge base as things change.
