Guyuntang ("we", "us") cares about your personal data. This notice explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

When you place an order or fill in a form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address, plus anything you write in order notes or inquiries.

Conversations with our online assistant are saved so we can answer your questions and improve our service.

We also keep browsing statistics that do not identify you (for example, how many times each page was viewed). These records contain no IP addresses, and we do not use tracking cookies.

When you are signed in as a member, we record which products you view so we can understand what interests you, make recommendations and help you when you contact us. Products you viewed earlier in the same visit before signing in are added to your member record too. When you are not signed in, product views are grouped only by browsing session and are never linked to you. These records are kept for 180 days.

Why we collect it

To process your orders, arrange delivery, reply to your inquiries, and keep transaction records as required by law.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for purposes unrelated to the above, except where necessary for delivery and payment services, such as passing your delivery details to the courier.

Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never receive or store your full card number.

How long we keep it

Transaction records are kept as required by the tax and commercial laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.). Other data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act of Taiwan (R.O.C.), you may ask to look up, review, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop using it. Please contact us at the contact details listed on this site.

Exercising these rights does not affect orders you have already completed.
